So I personally saw Cry-Baby when I went to New York in 2008. But I was very disappointed today when I found out it closed like two weeks after I saw it and I am still disappointed by the rumor there is no cast recording going to be released. Is this true? I seriously want to know as I seriously wanted to get it for Christmas.

Please include sources so it's not rumors getting passed about.

There is a demo recording of the show out there. I doubt they'll have an offical recording.
