Hey Green Room people!

My schools theatre committee and I just announced half of out our 2008-2009 Season, and I am the resident TD for my school, and next year that means I'm desigining Costumes and Sets for our 2 musicals and 1 play. We haven't decided on our play though.

Our season is:
Play: (Undeclared)
Winter Musical: You're A Good Man Charlie Brown
Spring Musical: Lucky Stiff

Anyway, I was had some questions which I was hoping people could help me anwser...

1. What is the set for Lucky Stiff supposed to be like? Is it difficult? Does anyone have any extensive knowledge about that show that they could give me?

2. I know the sef for YAGMCB can be simple, I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for that. I already have 4 giant boxes, one of witch I could use for a doghouse, but does anyone have any ideas for that set as well?

3. Does anyone have any ideas for a Snoopy suit that is not actually a furry dog suit?

For your Charlie Brown set, I'd try to make it seem like you are actually in the comic strip...so pick up one of the anthologies and page through it and see where the characters interact the most. The ones that come to mind are Lucy's stand and the wall...

As for snoopy, look at some youtube videos...look at the Tony performance. From that, all it looks like Roger Bart wore was a white jumpsuit, but i've seen them with hoods and ears attached...then you can white the face and blacken the nose if you want.
