copyrightsI'm thinking of making a jacket with a couple of Broadway logos on it, and obviously, they are all with copyrights.I was wondering if any of you would know where I could get permission to use these logos? Maybe from a main agency or something which handles all these shows? If not, my friend was commenting on how I could use those iron-on badges of the logos. But I've never seen those before. If they do exist, do tell. Cheers! |

Are you planning on mass-producing the jackets and selling them?
If not, I don't think the copyright thing is really a problem. |

Merely for personal use. I mentioned that to the printing company and they still didn't allow it.

Because they can't be sure of what you're going to do with it, so they can't be liable.
Here, try these: http://www.avery.com/us/Main?action=product.HierarchyList&node=10210816&catalogcode=WEB01 |

Ooh yes, these look promising. But they don't exactly tell you much about it, do they? Do I print the design out then iron it on?

Yes. Several brands make these. You can also look up Epson. You just print on them and then iron. |

Will definitely look it up, thanks for your help! |

If you're just making the jacket for yourself, then who's gonna know? |

They explained that they wanted to get a printing press to do it, but they wouldn't. Mr. Eye-Roll. Geesh. The iron-on transfers work pretty well, but you have to follow the washing instructions or they start to look a little junky. But overall, they work. |
