convincing school to do Beauty and the BeastThis might be a stupid question but my school might be doing beauty and the beast next year(they like to reserve rights far in advance) but the drama department says it is to much money to get the rights. If you had to convince your school how did you do it? Thank you so much ahead of time! |

We have a VERY small school and typically very small audience, and we do only one performance |

Thanks! Hopefully that will convince the drama departments! |

I don't know how much help I'll be but you could remind them that this is one the most performed community/high school theatre shows and it's sure to rack in money if you guys are charging (of course making money back is not really my concern as a performer but I don't pay the bills so <_< yeah...). But that coupled with the fact that Wom paid less than a thousand should do pretty well (my school has yet to do this play but our rival school performed it last spring for their musical).
Good luck! |

^but on the other hand, this is also a show where you are going to get a huge crowd for(make sure to advertise!) because it's so well known and with all the kids. |
