I just found out that they did a concert version of TSG back in 2005 for a World AIDS Day Benefit.

The entirety of Act II is on YouTube - go watch it! Here's the link to Part 1:

I hate that Mary. Her voice..ugh! It was painful for me. Except during her tantrum. That was pure gold.

Other than her, I'm in love. Sunrae is amazing for finding this and deserves cookies!

And there's also this sweet video of the orginal cast during the Tony awards...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qBPbDwvN374

This was really good except I really didnt like Mary all that much. It was weird seeing Steven Pasquale outside of rescue me ( he is married to Laura Benanti)I didnt know he could sing. I wish act one was around.

I saw him in Miss Saigon about 10 years ago and he blew me away. I really wish he'd do more theatre, but you go where the jobs are, I guess.

I would have loved to see that.

Yeah, the Mary wasn't very good - except for the tantrum! I seriously almost fell out of my seat laughing at that. As the Shoe said - pure gold.

I was wondering why I had never heard Steven Pasquale's name before...why doesn't he more musical theatre!? He's fantastic. I can imagine that he would have been great in Saigon!

Option 1: TV pays more.

Option 2: You weren't following megamusicals in the late '90s.

I saw Will Chase as Roger in RENT. Very strange seeing him outside of RENT. But he's got a great classical sounding voice.
