[Not Dead Yet]

Hello, all!

Our school has an individual event competition around January. The rules are, we're only allowed to bring 3 numbers per person, all in different categories. Also, only three submissions per category, per school.

I'm doing:
a solo: Your Daddy's Son from Ragtime
duet: Kiss Me from Sweeney Todd
group

the solo is unsure still because EVERYONE wants to audition to take a solo but only three can be chosen. I'm easily the strongest female singer in my school, but I'm also a sophomore, so that's my only disadvantage.

That's besides the point. My problem is the group Musical. From 3 to 6 people it's considered "small group" and from 7+ it's a "large group."

So basically, I have to find either a small or large group song that we can do.

Right now, I'm looking at One Day More from Les Miz.... do you think it'd be okay to reassign parts? We don't have that many guys (only 2 that are strong enough to pull off a solo part)

Ever After, is also a possibility, The Telephone Hour, or something from Spelling Bee.


Now, for small group it's a bit easier, since it usually involves less guys. I'm thinking around the lines of The Book Report, Skid Row...


I need suggestions for group musicals that have no more than 4, five guys at most, and at least 2/3 girls.
