Probably OBCR...however, just out of curiosity, will it be your first exposure to the show?

Get the OBCR but the Revival CR is amazing too.

I'd go with the OBCR if the show is new to you.

Better yet, get the DVD. The DVD of the revival cast is not available on Amazon until May, but you can get it from PBS directly right now (for a few extra dollars compared to Amazon). Here's a link:

If you're performing with a band, get the OBC and the 1996. If you're performing with a pianist, get the revival.
Although, to be honest, I like the Esparza revival best because I'm a big fan of his Bobby, and also because the original orchestrations, classic though they are, were a little ahead of their time. The song "Company" in particular now sounds far too much like the theme to a Seventies sitcom, and many of the other songs are orchestrated like a Tom Jones album.
As a trick with my Company cast, I slipped "It's Not Unusual" into the tracks of the OBC and someone thought it was part of the show.
