Cinderella or Rapunzel? In your opinion Who is the better character? Rapunzel or Cinderella? Remember Rapunzel is a phyco in Act 2!!!! (mucho fun) but Cinderella is very confused... your thoughts?

That's an easy question Britt. Although Cinderella is a bigger part and gets to sing Halfway through the Wood and she lives, Rapunzel is way more fun to play. If I could actually sing those notes, I would tried out for her. And Little Red and the Witch.
But definately Rapunzel.

If I were a woman, my dream role would be Cinderella. It is such a great part... it's hard to put in words. I see her almost as a younger Baker's Wife and an older Little Red.

i think cinderella is an awesome part to play. not only bc this year i am her in the production but just because she is so naive and very into her thoughts and confused often. i think she is so fun to play and she is the only character crazy enough to talk to birds!!!!! lol.

Anyone can. It's just a matter if they can understand and if they talk back.

Stop making me laugh What_the_Heck - you do that in almost every thread!
Cinderella would be my dream role in the show, along with the Baker's Wife or perhaps the Witch. First for her character, then for No One is Alone. So touching, and right after the encounter with her Prince. Dream. Role.

That is what I strive to do--especially on MdN because there are some GRUMPY people.

And I'm very happy for it!

I voted for Cinderella. I adore her, and I would have loved to play her in the show I'm doing now (I got Little Red, who I love just as much.) But Rapunzel would be great fun. By the way - ever wondered what happens to her babies?

Well, AngelicDramaQueen58 always told me that they died when the giant stepped on the castle when I asked her that. But the babies are in reality currently living with my little sister and the rest of her dolls .

well i chose cinderella. Personally, I feel that she is a much more developed character, especially throughout her songs. Rapunzel is a bit more fun to play, perhaps, since she is a little more of a typical crazy fairytale character. Cinderella, though, is a more realistic character who is indecisive and is trying to figure out her life like many young women. Rapunzel is more whimsical and naive.

I love Cinderella's last scene with the Prince, and Rapunzel gets to be thrown around by the Witch (I'm playing Rap right now) so I voted for Cinderella simply because she is more developed and I love No one is alone.

I'd go for Rapunzel. I love her singing part (I sing it all the time), and, because she's a smaller part, I wouldn't have to fight as many people if I ever auditioned for the show.

to me it depends on how they're played. Rapunzel has to be as 'funny-whiney' as she is in the revival or she's just annoying.
i love the connect Cinderella makes with the other characters, especially with TBW, and she's really cute. i love the 'He's undoing a spell' 'oohh-oohhhh!' which is adorible.

I chose Cinderella. She's a very complex character with a lot of depth. I wouldn't mind playing her part either, though I would prefer to play the witch or the baker's wife.

I don't know... that's really hard.... Rapunzel's part is very small but would be fun to play and Cinderella's part is larger but she's such a cold and depressed character... I don't know how much fun I'd have trying to be like that... I guess Rapunzel, cause I would have more fun, and what's the good in acting if your not enjoying it?
