Hey Everyone,
Not that I dislike Dee at all, but does anyone know when she might be leaving the Chicago production? I'm seeing the show 15 August (both Mat & Eve) and I was just wondering if she'll still be Elphaba. I've seen her twice before, and enjoyed her very much.

Not really all that extreme. I have to drive four hours to get to Chicago, and I figure since I'll be there on a Wednesday, I may as well see both shows... and go to Behind the Emerald Curtain before the Matinee! It will be a very Wicked day!

That will be a very "Wicked Day" - you know what would be neat - if you saw an understudy in the mat and Dee in the Evening - or vise versa - so you can get different perspectives - lol I guess....

That is honestly what I'm hoping for! I'm taking a friend of mine, who has never seen the show, to both shows, and to Behind the Emerald Curtain, so she gets to see the show, for the first time, twice in one day; we will have a very WICKED day, and hopefully I'll get to see Erin as Galinda; last time when I went in January, there was a standby as Galinda!

I would make her listen to the cast album first cause there is nothing worse than seeing a show that you really dont like - and having to see it twice - and spend all that money!
But who doesnt like Wicked!

Oh she has heard the OCR, read the book (and the sequel) and is, to say the least, terribly excited to see the show, or as she keeps telling me "FINALLY" get to see it!

I think I remember reading somewhere that Erin and Dee's contracts both end in September. So as far as August goes you should be safe. Info may not be 100% accurate though.
