quick reviewI realize this production was done on a very small scale and budget, and, unforunately, the cast was limited to the broadway revision so I'll try not to be too harsh.pros: Freddie, Florence, Arbiter and Svetlana were magnificent. cons: Anatoly, the staging, the orchestra were lackluster. I loathe the broadway plot, libretto, and score...I think this whole thing may have worked better as a concert. K |
