Wow!
I saw some of your rehearsal videos on youtube and started looking to see who was producing Chess. If I'd visited the forum a bit more regularly then I'd have made the effort to come and see you as I've always wanted to go to the Minack and to see Chess there would be amazing. I hope it's going well for you and that you're enjoying yourself as Freddy.
What a great setting - right in front of the sea! More photos here for those that are interested: http://www.minack.com/theatregoers/chess.htm |

We had a great week !! Fantastic !!
Singing Pity the Child is scarey enough anyway but you should try it when Sir Tim Rice is sat about 20 feet in front of you in broad daylight. The great man came on Tuesday night with his family ( and Anneka Rice ! ).I met him afterwards and he was just sooo nice. |

Superb! I'm really pleased for you that it all went well. Having Tim Rice in the front seats must have been a major distraction for you all. I'm just pissed off that I missed it. I'll have to make do with the DVD from the link that you suggested.

I love the Minack Theatre, though I've never been to Cornwall apart from when I was small when it's been in season I wish I could have seen it. |
