Chef or Steward?Which do you pick? I know their not main character's but its fun to see how many people actually know who they are

If I recall, the Steward had more solo lines than the Chef. So I'd have to say that I would rather be the Steward out of the two.
Either way, the Herald is the best.

The Steward I GuessI'm in Cinderella right now and I'm kinda inbetween because they're both friends of mine... the Steward has more lines but the Chef gets to say "40 acres of lettuce" which for some reason is funny to me. The Chef in our production can really do some funny stuff with that line at rehearsals (i.e., purposefully draw out lett-UCE like a hillbilly).
But anyway... I guess I should say the Steward because he has the most difficult part. Try memorizing that.

I just finished that show, and our steward was an obsessive compulsive germophob (And my dance partner) and he ALWAYS had us all in stitches! So my favorite would probably be the steward. Although our chef had the funniest little mustache!

"The prince is giving a ball! "The prince is giving a ball!"
...that guy. I choose the steward for two reasons: 1. He sings one of my favorite R&H songs ("Herman!" "Herman?") and 2. Jason Alexander was amazing in the film version in that role.

Actually, the Herald sings "The Prince is Giving a Ball"; the Steward only sings in "Your Majesties". The most recent TV movie combined the characters into one and these two songs into one production number, which was a good idea as I don't think either is a particularly great number and neither really adds very much to the show on it's own.
The former is merely a pure exposition number with one joke that gets varied three times and tells us a lot about nobody in particular and the latter is a list song that really doesn't do very much other than list and which has a rather silly punchline.
As for Jason Alexander in the role.... Well, let's be nice and say he was a little forced in putting across the humour. And I have no idea how the accent is justified.
