Chava?Fiddler on the Roof auditions are coming!
I'm so excited! Chava is my dream role!!! I'm 15 with black hair and I'm 4'11 (yes I know that's short). what are my chances of being chava?
Also, what do I need to know to be able to play this character? I really want to blow the directors away, even though they have their favorites (which is annoying because they get the leads every single year!).
I would LOVE LOVE LOVEEEE to get this part.

Watching the movie would be as good a start as any; Neva Small played the role creditably, including the ballet. I hope you have a good Fyedka to play opposite; Raymond Lovelock played that part like he was born to it.

Dance is required. The Chavaleh sequence will be made to fit your talents, but the better of a dancer you are, the better your chances are.
