cell block tango for my choir?my school choir aren't that great, but are getting better. with only 2 boys, i reckon we could pull off cell block tango. vocally, it isn't that hard and we have about 4 girls to carry the song, and a few more to do the dialogue. the only hard bit would be the in-another-language-bit. how could we kinda overcome that? What do u reckon? im kinda stuck for song choices

Maybe this is just me, but I really can't see Cell Block Tango being sung - without the dancing and everything...

yeah, that's what i was afraid of...
any other suggestions. im so stuck for song ideas. my choir can't sing much, and i don't think they understand the definition of "meaning to a song"

as long as you have a decent male and female vocalist your fine.
and the low harmony can be sang by girls

yeah, i just found out we're doing that. apparently i'm doing both solos (people are gonna think im a bitchy primadonna) but the arrangement one of the students has made kinda sucks so i'm gonna offer to re-arrange it. thanks for the advice
