PLEASE tell me the cooreography in this version is NOT the same as the movie

It's similar and same in some places, but different in others. It does not include "Pekes and the Pollicles" But instead includes "Growltiger's Last Stand". What exactly are you looking for in the choreography?

They seem to follow the basic choreography but in the three times the CATS tour has stopped in Atlanta which I have seen, there are small changes made.

The show is sort of like a jazz performance. It follows the basic structure but minor differences are introduced so you really never see the same show (unless of course you see it multiple times during its layover in a town).

I was just curious how close to the original theatrical coreography this tour was based on

it's not the same...familiar things here and there...but parts that were cut have been added in to make it different. I like going when there's a new cast because it's always new personalities and attitude and new movement...really refreshing for a fan.
