yes it is very good. I watched the movie version of it and loved it. then I saw the show at a Dinner theatre. it was aHAmazin.g

The only thing I don't like about the movie version is the fact that Growltiger Last Stand is missing...

I heard by my production's director that the song is way to much impressive and they don't want any amateur production to copy it so they decide not to do it. I also heard that they don't want to pay the big price for the boat entering on the scene just for a production that will not run like a Broadway or a West End show.
The only thing that I don't understand is why they just don't film the video in the Winter Garden Theatre or in the New London Theatre were there were already a Cats professionnal production with the Growltiger Last Stand scene?

For the video, it was neither cost nor thinking people would copy it... It was time.

Everywhere else it's cost. Producers can be very cheapass sometimes. (Not that I blame them.)

The only reason that scene is not in the film is that they ran out of time filming! The video was not made as carefully and professionally as we would like to assume- they ran over schedule so much that something had to be cut, and Growltiger was the victim. It is a real shame, but it's not because of any great plan or conspiracy that it ismissing!
