Cats UK Tour Review + Cast List!Ok sorry this is so late but I have been so busy! It's brief but if anyone wants to know more or have questions please feel free to ask!
Ok the show was great! I saw 4 showings, the Monday and tuesday nights and the wednesday matinee and evening! (Didn't plan to see it that many times a couple were last minute decisions!) Front row for all.
I typed up the cast list for you guys too
The cast list is as follows (in actor/actress alphabetical order):

Swing - Barry Haywood
Swing - Jennifer Hepburn
Swing- Phil Hogan
Swing - Amelie Munier
Swing - Jean-Claude Pelletier
Swing - Louise Perez
Only had one cover/swing on and that was Phil Hogan as Alonzo.
The three performers in particular that I loved were Christopher Howell (gus/bustopher/growltiger), John McManus (skimble), and Callum Nicol (admetus), who in particular were just fab! They all played the characters very well in my opinion and gave good interaction with the audience when looking out to us and when they come out. John (Skimble) was great, he'd play with kids eating ice creams, or come and pretend to scratch you, pinch your face or paw you as he did to me several times etc!! Very amusing!
Was nice to see Nicholas Pound an old Cats regular tho as Old D. He was amusing too and kept licking his lips at me in the interval whilst I ate my ice cream lol!
Anyway yeah overall the cast were all together very good. Stronger than the tour last year I think, they seem to look like they are really enjoying it too and are always full of life which is very good and refreshing as clearly thats toughy to do!
I even managed to convert my ex boyfriend who came (we booked this when we were together lol but it worked out ok in the end) into liking it enough he came to another showing with me too! He's now gone off and bought the CD I hear and wants to catch it in 2007 too!
Costumes/Makeup wise: its gone back to normal London style and Mungo's makeup is back tro its nice colourful self this time round as aposed to the pale faded different style they tried out last year which I wasn't too fond of personally.
Set: The same as the last tour (video style really.)
Score: Same again, Mungojerrie and Rumpleteaser is still the 'new; variety e.g. the OLC version and new kind of mixed together but I think they have played with it a bit again as it also sounded a little more improved this time and a tiny bit faster again.
So yeah definately worth a look if you can! I may catch it again on tour if possible as a guy who works selling the souvineers etc gave me a little hint at where the tour is going before its announced It stops in August this year then goes off to Portugal, and then reappears in 2007 to some theatres that it visited last time around, but not all I'll hasten to add! So there you go guys.
Oh last thing! Souvineers? Not a lot available yet as I suspected and no colour picture brochure ( ) so I'll have to try and order it off the live website when it is (which you can do by the way.) Got the cast brochure though obviously, as you can see above.
They have t shirts and mugs which say Cats 25th anniversary on though....
Anyway hope that has satisfied some of your curiosity, especially UK people and I know a few of you have been hunting after a cast list for a while now.
Thanks to the new UK Tour Cast for 4 great showings if any of you guys read this!

I want the UK tour to fly to Quebec and entertain me They just do Europe right? And from the names there may be a few French guys in there, which is awesome!
I don't know any of them, sadly. Any pictures, are any of those famous or from older tours? ^^

Erm no most are fresh to cats actually with the main exception of Nicholas Pound who has played Old D in London.
The guy who plays Misto is South African.
Well no, it's not all of Europe its literally just the UK and a stop in Portugal randomly for a a short run and thats it! Sorry!

Cool beans! Yeah my Uni, and I love it bless it, is kinda in middle of nowhere which rocks for various reasons but doesnt rock for stuff like theatre or activities, I travelled to North Wales, Llandudno, which took about 5 hours but its the closest and cheapest to get to this year compared with the other stops and the timing of the other stops.

Yeah he seemed pretty good too, Didn't watch him that much especially (the character) though there was a sweet bit where I think it was him anyway, was chewing on Cori's tail or something!
