on saturday the cast had a run of act one so yes, they have fully cast it, I havent had a chance to get a full cast list from some people i know in it but it will be a very good cast, I have been assured.

The official website looks like it hasn't been updated in ages. I know for a fact that cats is going to glasgow in november but the site doesn't mention that. When are they going to announce the cast? They really need to sort themselves out.

Im sure you will all know soon, (as long the agents have all sent their artists resumes to the programme publishers!)
they had their make up workshop last week, so not long now.........
and yes, the website is slack, slack and poor but not as bad as some websites with updating and cast info!lol!

okay, now im confused, in the Stage paper today there are advertised open auditions for the Cats Uk tour...what's going on????
edit: It's for a male swing 5'10'' and over for a year contract. Not complete cast overhaul for next change....yet!

It seems they just have not been able to cast the Munkustrap/Admetus tall swing! I can't believe there's not a single man out there who's capable of doing it - rather I suspect the money's not good enough to tempt the talent required.
But they HAVE cast the rest of the cast... and there's maybe half a dozen names leaked out. Tell Us!

Right, this tour has started now, tonight!!! Does anyone know the cast now or was it just an empty stage? Any news much appreciated.

No Electra? No Etcetera?
No Jemima?!?!?!?!?

No etcetera and Electra is pretty much expected... but I suspect that Jemima's been missed off the list, rather than just not in the show? Unless Victoria is doubling, which was the original intention for the OLC...

im so pleased Zoe smith is back in it, she was a fab rumple and electra, and Id love to see her Demeter again!
woo hoo!
edit:apparantly Louisa Barrett is Jemima, having seen a Lydia Barratt a few years ago it seems there is a trand for casting people called Barratt on tour for Jemima!

At least a cast list ! Nice to see a French woman in the show ! I read some good things about Amelie Munier when she was in Chicago.
Also, I don't know about Jean-Claude Pelletier, but this name sounds very French too.

Jean Claude is british, born in the UK but if i remember rightly his dad is of french origin, and he took his stage name from his father (Pelletier)
