Cats sightings in comics

I know we've talked about cats sightings before, but they always do get me a little excited.

I was checking a webcomic I read, and the newest entry alludes to Cats:
http://www.catenamanor.com/

Mind, if you check this after the next Monday, you make have to click back.

I thought it deserved a bit of a chuckle. I know some others of you have information stored from other in-comic jokes on Cats.

Post them?

Or not. *shrug*

I sometimes think we need an official "Cats sighting thread".

Likewise...

A small group of authors did the same thing on my website - and the same thing:
PEOPLE -ACT ONE
PEOPLE -ACT TWO
A definite Parody... And I want to see what the toon artist does with hers.

The animation is quite good. It's drawn more in the style of Don Bluth (i.e. The Secret of NIMH). I wonder if the artist formerly worked at Don Bluth's animation studio. Another comic, called VGCATS, is drawn more in the style of Manga. While there are no CATS references in VGCATS, it's still pretty good.

Tracy Pierce/Bailey is self taught, afair, and has never worked professionlly as an artist outside of the odd commission. Her style is very appealing, though, I agree Smile

Back on topic, Queen of Wands' October 30, 2002 panel is entitled "Jellicle She Aint", though the artwork and panel text make no official reference.

Similar to the one Nemi just posted, Garfield had a comic with a bunch of Cats coming out of a theater playing the show "Humans." I don't remember when it was made, but it was a long time ago.
