Cats on Ellen

Ok, this is a lot happier than my last topic (O/T Cat Help ASAP - for those who didn't read it yet, PLEASE DO!!!!!).
Anybody watch the Ellen DeGeneras Show? If you do, Wednesday was a special episode - Ellen the Musical. Most of the episode was sung - Jack Black sung, a 'camera man' sung, 'audience members' sung, and Ellen sung, along with others.
I didn't catch the beginning, but at the end, everyone who had been on previously came back on stage for the finally.
THERE WAS A CATS CHARACTER!!!!!!! It was funny. She wore all different crazy colors - I remember bright yellow and red. I was very entertained.
Also present was the Phantom of the Opera (who was doing the robot), Annie (who was unusually tall), and Kristin Chenowetch in a costume very similar to Glinda's in Wicked (that was for you MzGalinda). She was very funny, and sung a solo song.
If you guys ever happen to see Ellen the Musical as a re-run, don't change the channel! I found it highly amusing.

Kristin Chenoweth is a GENIUS of theatre art. If anyone has taped this thing and is going to put it on youtube.com or share it in any other way, I'd be forever grateful! Smile

Nemi

UGH! I saw Ellen on yesterday and I KNEW I should have told my boyfriend to keep it on! ...We watched Mythbusters instead... hmm.

I love Ellen. Man.

*watches*

Terrible song but I must admit that Kristin Chenoweth makes it look so easy.
Alonza0

Oh, the song was terrible, but what do you expect?

Mythbusters is amazing. If I had known that was on I probably would have watched that. I'm a total Mythbusters addict. But then again I wanted to see Kristin Chenoweth and she was on Ellen...

It was funny at first but when they sang it in chorus, each time it sounded worse and worse and worse and... Razz
Alonza0

Oh, I know, they drug it on... and on... and on...

But don't get me wrong people, the episode itself was hilarious! Watch it!
Drumdraper

It was funny and annoying all at the same time. You know what, it'll probably be on Broadway in ten years.

Hi littlegriz thanks for the welcome but im not new! Im a bit of a lurker Laughing I come out of the shadows occasionally to post hehe!
Filakatessa

That was quite funny - the cat looked like it belonged in Vegas, though! lol

I was able to name most of the characters on the stage, but what was the giant snowman from??

And yes, the Phantom was hilarious doing the robot...just so random. Razz
Drumdraper

The snowman is called Little Snow and is from Christmas when Ellen was giving gifts away to the audience.

The cat looks like she's wearing feathers around her neck. I hate when they put stuff like that on the costumes. Other than the feathers I like the coloring on the costume.
