Cats on DVD.I just got in Cats from Netfix and I'm looking forward to watching it, I have never seen the show before, just heard the songs. I'll let you know what I thought.

Enjoy it! It's a lovely recording, except for a few moment where the fact it was edited by monkeys becomes apparent...

Didn't they also remix the sound on the DVD as well? For one, it sounds to me as if they strengthen Ken Page's voice in the finale. He has a nice voice but in the recording they make it overpowering. And I heard that they mixed in some dog sounds in P&P.
On my VHS, they botched the transition from Tugger to Griz.

They re-recorded the music for the DVD. Not the transition in the Ball where one of the cuts is has the electric guitar whine back in. And yes there is now dog barks in the Aweful Battle.
