CATS in real life:

I know we all LOVE the musical CATS, else why would we be here reading this forum? Rolling Eyes

but what about in REAL life?

Who here like real kitties? Who has real kitties? If you do, what are their names? How many? and what do they look like?

If not...then what sort of pollicle do you have? Or is it a Peek? LOL

Anyway,

Here are mine:

Lucky and Maru:

aren't they sweet?
Belle

hehe, they're so cute!

My lot -

Poor old Kitty's recently had surgery to take off the top of her other ear, as she developed tumours from 17 summers of sunbathing! Mr. Woo Cat is completely senile, mostly deaf, and very happy! Purdy's asleep on top of boxes next to me, and Boush is happy 'cos his mummy's home for the weekend!

In my household, we have 13 cats. 5 of them are mine personally, and here they are! ^_^

Sally (8 years old)

Oreo (4 years old)

Sillabub (2 years old)

Milo (1 year old)

Olivia (1 year old)

Cute, everybody!

I don't have any Jellicles or Pollicles, at the moment. Sad Husband and I will definitely remedy that as soon as we buy a house, though. Right now I live vicariously through my in-laws and their cats. Laughing

I happen to love both cats and dogs. Greyhounds, specifically, but any lovable mutt from the animal shelter is just as wonderful. Smile

My dad gave me a cat one time that still resides at his house. I named him Pokey, but my dad renamed him Buster. Wtf? Laughing He looks a lot like the black-and-white Alonzo. Black patch over his eye and everything.

My ex-boyfriend and I adopted a cat. We named him Neko, and he was an adorable little orange tabby. The ex got to keep him in the breakup, though.... grrrrr.
Nemi

I love cats. I used to have one (Roxanne the Belvedere, she was called)... quite a curious cat, and a blue and white maine coon... but, alas, she was taken before her time by a vehicle of some time. Can't get any at the time anyway, living in a dorm room.

Indeed, that was my Roxie *sniffs* That picture was taken the first day we got her... and it kinda sucks a lot.
Lady Jemima

Nemi, I'm so sorry. *many hugs*

Everyone's cats are just beautiful; each one brought a new smile to my face! I'm a true cat-lover; I imagine I will feel similar love for any children I may have in the future, lol! Wink (Just kidding, but half serious! Wink ) Belle, I just adore Birmans; you are very lucky to have one!

Here are my two Jellicles; plain ol' brown tabbies, but special all the same. Wink

Sophie, our oldest (age 14). A complete sweetheart.

Mia, who is the troublemaker of all troublemakers. She came from a litter of seven known as the "Jet Babies" because they ran around so quickly (Mia's original name was Thunderbolt!) Her nickname is "Fivvy" because she's FIV+. Wink

MrsJemima how can you keep so many cats without your house smelling and keeping the cats from killing each other? I once had two females and a male. The eldest female was very timid and shy, so the younger kept beating up on her. We had to get rid of the younger one too.

My Kate, six years, is identical to MrsJemima's Olivia. Really uncanny how similiar they look.

My second is a one year old kitten named Newman, takes well after his namesake and is a buff sand dune.

Then I have two pollicles, one beagle named Roo and a mutt we're still trying to figure out what she is named Lucy.

And a turtle.

ohhhhhh~ THose kitties are sooo KUTE!
I especially like the sleeping Tabby, sweet!

Belle, I would have to say woo is one of my Fav's right after Purdy of course.

Oh goodness, I couldn't live with 13 indoors, had 15 outdoors at one point when out 3 females all gave birth to 5 kittens each at the same time. THAT was chaos...

THat is also where Lucky and Maru came from. THe only Black and whites in the whole lot of 15.
Nemi

A friend of mine has 21... and her family has a whole living room just for them... and most of them are rather huge... Only one lives outside the room (and a pretty Griddlebone-esque cat it is!).

5 of them are litter mates. Another 5 of them we got when they were all kittens, and around the same age. And the other 3 don't really care! They play with them, and also put them in their place, lol.

Well, they are all outside cats, so we don't have a litter box. And we use air sanatizers, etc.

Roxanne

I've got two lovelies who I will miss dearly next year at uni.

Misty:

Sleeping in my french horn case. XP Misty's the sweet cuddly one. ^_^

Melanie:

Melanie's the mischeif maker. Melanie still can't control urges to pee in the house. Rolling Eyes At least not since it's cold outside again. She's spoilt, I think. But can be very cute. *nods*

I like all animals (some more and some not so much). And we have a Bichon Havanese named Chili. And we're not sure, but we think he might just be the most stupid dog in the world. Sometimes it feels like he can't smell anything. He can't catch a piece of cheese or whatever we throw to him. He just stands there and lets the cheese or whatever fall on his head. One on his most adorable things is, that when alone at home, he sits or stands on two legs, like a prairie dog, because otherwise he doesn't see out from the window. Anyway, here he is.

The picture is about two years or so old, but he looks exactly the same now.

Plethora of Tabbies

So far, I have seen a lot of tabbies...

Here are the terrible trio who gallop through our house...

This is an unusual picture of James (the Victor-like tabby) and Laura (the Jenny-like tortie... Unusual in the sense that they fight a lot... We did not think James would grow up to be as big as he is ... however, he is a lover as well...

This is a mini-dachshund, Maggie. The cone around her head is there to keep her from chewing stitches... Although she is show-quality, we had her spayed at 6-months... Her favorite chew toy other than us? Jamie...

Respectfully,
Rumblepurr Cool
