People have made them, but they're not commercially made and sold. |

The nicest ones I've ever seen done were by Michaela(click on misc. to see them). |

I'd buy the dolls if I could find action dolls of cats in a games shop!!!!
At least I'd get my favourite ones to play with!! But not people dressed as cats, I mean the characters themselves as there are action dolls of Harry Potter for instance |

I think it’s a great idea. I’ve seen them made, as has already been stated, but I’d love to actually see them in the stores. And NOT costing an arm and a leg either! I’ve always said CATS could have used a more aggressive marketing approach to help keep it alive (on Broadway) longer. If I’m not mistaken Japan seems to have the best supply of CATS stuff you could ever want! All you need is a credit card and you’ve got it made; unfortunately if you’re like me and pay for everything using money orders or cash that doesn’t help in the least. |

I remember seeing what looked like an official Rum Tum Tugger doll on ebay once upon a time. It was in an box with the Cats logo and it looked like something you may see sold at the show. Some people may be thinking I'm talking about the scary Ken Tugger I posted a picture of some months ago, but I'm not. Japan has some resin figures of the characters for sale right now. Then a company in Germany made five or six porcelain figurines of some characters. Again I found these on ebay and could possibly still be in the forum acrhives. Possibly the auctions are no longer stored on ebay. Then another company in the US made some ceramic figurines that are more inspired by the poems than the actual show. They made Rumpelteazer and Mungojerrie (easiest to find), Skimbleshanks, Jennyanydots, and the Rum Tum Tugger (I think). But the best way to get the characters you want is to make them yourself. http://cgi.ebay.com/Mungojerrie-Rumpelteazer-of-Cats-Ceramic-Figurine_W0QQitemZ6278167723QQihZ010QQcategoryZ11135QQssPageNameZWD1VQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem |
