Cast Holidays?Hi I'm hoping to go and see Wicked this June, but I was hoping to see Kerry Ellis and any other of the current main character cast. I didn't want to be seeing standbys on my first show. Also, does Kerry do Wednesday matinees?Thx! |

I've found some info about Kerry Ellis holidays but I still wanna know about the rest of the cast and whether Kerry does matinees!

Yes, Kerry does do matinees and the holiday date you have are correct.
BUT even though this is your first time seeing Wicked, it may be better to see the show when Kerry is on holiday because Shona White is so much better than Kerry at Elphaba. I'm sure you will enjoy the show whoever you see though

The better question is: Why wouldn't she do matinees? It's not like the principle cast takes the afternoon off.

Kerry DIDN'T do matinees for several weeks (I believe 2-4 weeks??) earlier this year when she came back from illness. |

Maybe because she had just come back from "illness". Why was she ill? |

Because it was January, in London. EVERYONE is ill in January in London. Only, most of us aren't trying to perform Elphaba all week. |
