Anybody at all? I'm just wondering what good parts there are for men, I have the CD and I get the impression that Sam sings a lot but I've heard that Skye is the lead but he's only in one song on the CD,. Is that right?
Fantine

There are about four "main" parts for guys.

I'm not sure how they are named in the English production but in Dutch we have:

Sam (early 40ies)
I would consider him the male lead. He's Donna's old fling and when he comes back to the island on Sophie's invitation Donna discovers that she still has feelings for him. He left her because he had a fiancée at home.

He sings:
'S.O.S,' (duet)
'Knowing me, knowing you,' (solo)

And he has some smaller parts in the other songs.

Harry (early 40ies)
This role is second in my opinion.

He sings:
'Our last summer' (duet)

And has some smaller parts in the other songs.

Bill (early 40ies)
Smallest part.

He sings:
'Take a chance on me' (duet)

Sky (early 20ies)
Sophie's lover and fiancé.

He sings:
'Lay all your love on me' (duet)

Pepper (early 20ies)
who has a nice role but sings very little.

I hope that helped you a bit....

The older guys (Sam, Harry and Bill) don't have very complicated dances. Pepper and Sky do. Especially Pepper.

As for dialogue... A tie between Sam and Harry I guess..

oh cool! Thanks very much, I'll probably look at auditioning for Sam since I like his songs a lot. Thanks again!

I love Sam... He's a great character.

Good luck!

Thanks very much! It's not for ages yet but it should be good fun, thanks!
Fantine

Edit: Bill sings a duet (Take a chance on me).
