I was thinking of buying the CD of "Candide" and I wondered which is the best one to get. Any input is much appreciated!

thge 1998 broadway revival starring JIm Dale is by far the best.

excellent , excellent recording! Dale is sheer perfection.

Jason Danielly as Candide,Andrea Martin as the old woman, Stacey Logan as Paquette,Harolyn Blackwell as Cunagonde (with her superior ot all others rendition of "Glitter and Be Gay") and Arte Johson in various roles are all 100 percent on the mark!

Oh yeah, then. I love Jason's voice [and the way he looks, lol, no fair Marin!], especially when I saw him in Curtains, though he was underused.
