Calling all catowners

What poem describes your cat?

My cats fit with these:

Shadow: male, looked like Munkustrap, but he was a Rum Tum Tugger. He just couldn't decide what he wanted to do. But he was very, very playful.

Sunday: female, she was a Gumbie Cat. She sat most of the time, but got into mischief when no-one was looking.

They passed on several years ago and I miss them.

Andy.
Pounce

We had a Tugger. He was a Persian and thought very highly of himself. He would wail because he wanted to go out and then would just stand at the door full of indecision. Nudge him outside, he'll go back in, push him inside, he'll just want to go out again. If a door to a room was closed he wanted in. He would wail for food and if it wasn't what he had in mind, he'd look at you wanting something else. He really only liked what he found for himself.

Our other cat had tuxedo colorings but wasn't especially a Misto in personality.
Moongewl

Our cat Mary was older than me(she almost made it to 21). Once, when we took her to the vet's office, the vet called her Grizabella. And she was--the limping, the pride, the "fallen one" attitude. The big difference was that she was also cranky as hell.

My darling Cierron looks like the Rum Tum Tugger, except coloured like Munkustrap!! Seriously, did you ever see a cat with such a GORGEOUS mane?

And he acts like Tumblebrutus!! He's the most acrobatic cat I've ever had...the stunt he pulled yesterday! He was on the garage roof and there is a climbing plant sort of suspended between the garage and the house. He leaned over the edge of the roof with his front paws and gripped the plant...and then swung over forwards in this kinda front-flip and dangled from the plant by his front paws!!!!! Laughing He then managed to scramble onto the rest of the plant.

He also glides from tree to tree...I think he has flying-squirrel blood in him. ^_^

my cat too passed on this past year...she was really old and fragile at the end and a Grizabella..but when she was younger she was Bombalurina all the way..she had the calico coloring with mainly reddish brown and was very playful and sassy! her name was Brownie..I miss her so much!

This is one of the MOST BEAUTIFUL creatures I've ever seen in my life. Seriously! Very Happy

As for my two queens, one (Artemide) is a perfect female Bustopher Jones, while the other one (Morgana) is the love of my life and can perhaps be compared to Jemima, because she is incredibly sweet and caring. Just adorable.

your cat is AMAZAZING!!!!
you better make sure i don't steal it Wink

i don't have a cat Crying or Very sad because my parents won't let me.
my friend vanasa did, however, purchase me a stuffed cat named Bombalurina...she's pink and white and red.
She sleeps on my bed all day, and when I go to sleep, she somehow manages to get on one of my neat-o chairs. Toy Story much?

His name is Pouncival and that's how he acted.

Now he is a mix between BJ and Jennyanydots....he's almost a 25 pounder (22.5 lbs last time we weighed him)

We have also rescued 5 other kittens (stupid neighbors won't spay their animals). The first 2 kittens were black and white tuxes, we thought they were a male and female but both are actually male. They know live with my grandparents. We had named them Spirit and Oreo but they are now calling them Batman and Robin....in a way they are kinda like Cori and Tanto.....shy and spooky....I don't have any pics of them

The next kitten was a solid grey male, he was so funny. He would play and be a little psycho kitten then just fall over and be asleep....once he fell asleep while biting my hand....kinda like a male Cettie
This is a picture of him....we didn't name him b/c we weren't keeping him...just called him Kitty

Kitty also had a brother, a little grey and white patched tux...one of my mother's co-workers took him so we only had he for a day...don't know who he was like

The last kitten was another solid grey but this time it was a girl. We brought her in after her mother abandoned her in our kennels (she was the runt of the litter). While we had her we called her Baby, she now lives with one of my girlfriends and is called Seda (Czech for Grey)...she doesn't really have the personality of any of the show characters

Emily looks a little like Old Deut. because of the color patches on her body but personality-wise, she's a bit of a
Grizabella because she's kind of the outcast. She doesn't really hang out with the other cats too much.

Romeo looks the most like Victoria or Griddlebone, except he's obviously not all white. In terms of personality,
he's a bit of a Rumpleteazer. He's cute & lovable and gets in trouble, but generally he's not the ring-leader
(ie Mungojerrie - we unfortunately lost his Mungojerrie, Tennessee, a few months ago). He also has a bit of
Munkustrap in him. He kind of watches over the other cats and if one is upset or hurt, he's right there making
sure they're okay.

Ghost doesn't really look like any of the cats (except in terms of size, he's getting up to Bustopher proportions).
For personality, I guess he's a little bit of a Pouncival. Maybe a tiny bit of Tugger mixed in because he likes women
a lot better than men.

Can't really think of anyone Toonces resembles, but she's a definite Demeter in the personality department.
She's very shy & skittish. My brother was visiting for a week and he only saw her maybe 3 times.

Rusty is our newest little guy. He looks like Skimble and has a little bit of Skimble's personality (always has to
watch over me when I clean the litter boxes to make sure I'm doing it correctly) with a lot of Pouncival &
Etcetera's playfullness & goofiness.
darkmage

Rook is my black Angora/Siamese halfbreed. He's the Tugger, but more cuddly. He gets jealous when I pay attention to the other cats and always has to be the centre of attention. When he comes over for petting and I stick my hand out, he'll run away. If I grab him, then he's cool w/that. Think

Jacob is my oldest, he's a brown tabby. He's very much Skimble in both looks and behaviour. He doesn't take any crap out of the others, and he'll smack them around when they get out of line. When they don't, he's good-natured and friendly, but he has to inspect EVERYTHING that comes in or goes out of the house.

Bustopher is a solid black shorthair. When I got him, he was *quite* round, hence the name. He's now slimmed down to about 12-13lbs which is where he should be. He's Demeter in personality though, he only likes my mother and he's absolutely PETRIFIED of anyone else, including me. :/

If I had pics I'd share, but I don't. :/

My cat Charlotte is a mix between Bustopher Jones and Tugger, she's overly fussy and likes to do the opposite of whatever she does or you want her to do.
Rum_Tum_Tigger

I share my house with two neutered females - Lupin, who can be a kind of mix between Demeter (she's very neurotic, although ironically her latest mate looked to me rather like Macavity Twisted Evil ) and Mistoffelees (she nicks things and opens doors and windows to come in and out - she's a complete Houdini).
The other, Tiger, is pure Bombalurina through and through, perhaps with a bit of the Tugger mixed in there for the 'you-go-to-let-me-in-and-I-wanna-go-out' thing, and also because she has a lovely mane.
