Callbacks

Ok, so I recently got a callback for the end of this week, however, the directorial team did not give any indication of what material to prepare for the callback—they just said to show up. I'm posting becuase I've never been in this situation before; I've always been given a selection of sheet music and the script. Any advice on how to handle this? I'm good at cold reading, but my reading of music is limited. I'm guessing I should just get familiar with every piece just in case, but I'd like some feedback about these types of callbacks anyway.

I have a callback next week, and it says that I don't need anything prepared. It says that I will be reading from the script, singing some songs from the show, etc. They told me that they'll explain everything once I get there.

Are either of you familiar with the shows that you auditioned for? This is something you should have done before the audition. Perhaps read the play/musical, seen it (or a film adaptation), and/or listen to a cast recording. If you haven't done any of this before, do it now.

I am familiar with the show and most of the songs, but being "familiar" doesn't make me feel as confident as being polished, and with limited time, I'm not sure I can be as polished as I'd like. But I appreciate your response- I think I will take it to mean I should learn it all as best I can within the time frame.

Yeah. The show is Madeline's Christmas and I watched it last week. Mr. Green
