Callback questionI'm new to this an auditioned yesterday for Shenandoah. The Director asked me if I would be available for all the rehearsals and performances, so this gave me a lot of hope. He also said to practice one of the songs from the show that fit my voice well. I know there were a few more guys that had yet to audition, so I'm trying not to get to excited. My question is how soon do callbacks take place and do they always have callbacks?

It depends on the producer. Sometimes, they will call you after you have auditioned and sometimes they will tell you right after you are done with your audition that you are called back.
So sorry! There is no 100% correct answer!

I've also been cast solely on my preliminary audition without a callback (both for community and semi-pro theatre). Like Jazzy says, it completely depends on the company.
Being asked about rehearsal conflicts is a good sign!
