Cabaret FanfictionAnyone written any Cabaret fanfiction? I have. But they're not very good. (I wrote them about 2 years ago)
Anyway, I have a Cabaret plot bunny (idea for a fic) for anyone that wants it!
You know how in the '98 revival of Cabaret, during the Finale, everyone is seen in a concentration camp, including the Emcee?
How about when he first arrives at the camp, the commandant asks him for his name. Our Master of Ceremonies starts to speak, and then stops, taken aback. He's forgotten his own name.

It'd be kind of hard to write fanfiction for Cabaret. I mean, how on earth would you have ship wars when practically everything is canon anyway?

Well, you could always write backstories. Like what Frenchie did before she came to the club, or how Bobby came to the club, or what happened to Sally after Cabaret.

If I wrote a Cabaret fanfic...Dear Musicals.Net Posters,
If I wrote a Cabaret fanfic, I'd write about Sally's steady love affair with the Emcee! I know that Sally was never the Emcee's bedroom partner in either version (Broadway or movie) of Cabaret, but I personally believe that the Emcee must have known her as more than just a great stage performer. Why else would he emphasize her presence at the cabaret so much?
