Hi all...I have auditions in about a week or so for a community production of BBB... i am about 5'10, skinny, brown hair, hazel eyes, 18 yrs old and have a Baritone/ Bass range ...having done the show before at my HS (as chorus), i know it realtively well, and seeing that this is a community production, i am thinking that Hugo or possibly Conrad is like the only roles that i could audition for, at least for bigger roles that is( i know there are smaller bit parts, but i would like to shoot for something bigger, although Hugo doesnt sing but..)...if you could voice your opinion, please let me know what u think i should go for..thanks

I'd say that Hugo is probably your best choice, given your age/type and the fact that this is a community production (rather than a school show). Even though Hugo doesn't have any solo singing, there's a lot of acting involved, and if you're good with comedy, you can really make a lot out of the part.

Then again, if you can do a good Elvis impersonation, you might also want to try for Conrad. That's what really makes that particular role, in my opinion, is the whole Elvis-wanna-be thing.

Conrad is a tenor, if I remember correctly he has a high Ab somewhere and a number of Es (right on the break for most singers)
