Hey,
so our stage is 40wx32 without wings, its all ETC equipment, 3 manual crank electrics and 3 on winches.

Long story short, we're building a new one. Budget is maybe $400 tops, it doesnt need to be anything too complex, we have dimmers to plug into so its mostly just a support apperatis for hanging maybe 8 lights on it maximum.

Any ideas?

are you asking what sort of crancs and or winches to use or are you asking what type of pipe to use for the new electric?

Hire a real, experienced theatrical rigger to come in and do the job for you. Simple, and it minimizes your exposure.
