broadway or touring cast - which is better?hello,
I've seen wicked once and loved it. I now have the opportunity to see it again either in NY or in my hometown as part of the touring company.
NYC would be Stephanie Block and Kendra Kassebaum (replacing Annaleigh Ashford on April 22nd I believe).
Touring would be Carmen Cusack and Katie Rose Clark.
Any reviews of these casts? Which would be better?

If you're going to NYC again, don't see something you've already seen- especially if it's coming to your town soon. See something new. You're only in New York so often, right?

If you prefer a singer as Elphaba then see Stephanie J Block. If you prefer an actress see Carmen Cusack. That granted, both are good casts (except Katie Rose Clark, I haven't seen her Galinda so I can't judge).

I'd suggest seeing it as it tours through, that way when you go to NYC you can see something else. Plus, seeing it performed differently actually might be nice.
