Broadway Changes?

Hey! I just have a quick question...

I saw The Lion King with the OBC back when it first opened, on tour a year and a half ago, and then I saw it again on Broadway last January.

I was reading an article today that said that changes were made for the first national tour and then adapted for Broadway, much like what they did for Avenue Q with the changes they made for the Broadway and London versions...

The only change I noticed on the tour when I saw it was that Pride Rock didn't come out of the stage, and instead come from the wings, but when I saw it on Broadway last January.. I did notice that some things were different, although I couldn't put my fingers on them..

So, basically, does anyone know what changes were made on the first national tour and then adapted for Broadway?

Thanks!

I saw it on tour last June and Pride Rock came out on the wings becuase most older theaters dont have enough space under the stage to fit the whole pride rock, besides the major theaters on broadway and la, sf, etc..
Ive never seen it on Broadway but i dont think there have been any changes.
Hope this has helped.

"Changes" are only made to accomadate the theatre that the show is going to be playing at on tour, and they are very slight. It's nothing to get worked up about.

Some shows change things up every once in a while to keep things "fresh".
