i know this isn't a musical so technically i shouldn't be asking about it on this website but i am contemplating auditioning for it at a local theater. I'm 17, about 5'6'' and blonde. i don't really know much about this play at all..or even if my "look" is that important to the specific characters..but i was wondering if anyone knew what parts, if any, would fit me? thanks

I played Eugene in this show and it was a blast.

If this is an adult community theatre, I would recommend auditioning at least. I mean, why not? It is a Jewish family and so a blonde might have a hard time passing off as a Jew. Your description sounds like you could possibly play Nora. This sounds rediculous, but your breast size will also affect whether or not you get Nora. Haha.

Eugene always talks about Nora's breasts in the show. It really is a great show. Borrow the script from your local library. It should be there. Neil Simon is the author, in case you don't know.
