Bombalurina Costume Bits

As requested by Belle here are the Bombalurina unitard pieces worn by Michella Danielle. Upon closer examination of the pieces, it turns out that possibly only two pieces of the five might have been pieces for a unitard. One pieces, that I thought was a sleeve turned out to be the top portion of a foot and the largest piece might have been a sleeve or just painting practice. The others look just to be paint practice bits or maybe the remains from when they made the unitard. Also included was the original ziploc bag the pieces were stored in. I didn't think it was necessary to take a picture of that. If anyone is interested, I got one offer already, but I will consider selling these pieces, so make me an offer. Very Happy

The best part of the collection, close up of side.

Close up of other.

Full shot.

One corner.

Another misc. piece. Looks like someone had fun and painted a flower or broom.

Another flowe/broom piece. Anyone ever see the flower image on a costume?

The top of a foot. Maybe I'll sew it onto a unitard and have a some-what authentic costume. At least the foot would be. Hahaha.

That "flower" "brush" section is part of the upper right kneecap on her leg. Down the side in an arrow pattern. . There are two upper "V's" above it. This is obviously for the kneepatching.

The other sections are duplicates for the back side of the leg upper, under the butt section of her left leg part. The light yellowish section is right where her back of the knee hits. Looks like duplicated painting patches. Don't know where the corner is. Hope that helps the next time you paint a unitard. Also to clarify, Bom on Broadway was always ORANGE with burgandy spots and brown black stripeing, NOT red like in London. Under the heavy lighting she would turn more fire engine red. Under the white work lights you could tell she was really a calico with the orange under paint.

Definately interested in making an offer for the second image patches. Makes me want to pull out my acid dyes and mix some thickener right now!

You can kind of see the flower/broom on Bom's right leg here. This is from the 4th National Tour.

Nice, did you buy these on e-bay? I think I remember seeing a sale for costume bits. It's fun to see how this Bombalurina is rather orange than red. But probably that under the lights she still looks reddish.

*sighs with envy* You are sooooo lucky. That you for the gorgeous pix! Very Happy

I just wish they were the full unitard though. But the colors are enough to satisfy me.
