Birdie Audition. Approval!Well, i've been doing theater since i was 4. I'm 15. 2nd tenor, 5'6.
I want to be Hugo Peabody!
Do you think "Without Love"-Hairspray, would be a good audition piece?
I think it's very period, and it's very Hugo-esque. I don't really like hairspray, but it's my only choice so far...
Suggestions? Comments? Approval? PLEASE!

That would be good. But don't sing it as the "Mr. Cool" that Link is. A song from Grease might be good too.

Birdie Audition..Approval!the Hairsparay is a good choice!..maybe something from Little Shop of Horrors..something that Seymore sings..I can't think of them off the top of my head.. or maybe something from something from Fame! Grease would be a good choice too..but it shouldn;'t be a mr.cool song like "Greased Lightning. Maybe "Drive in Movie" or "Sandy"

"Suddenly Seymour" would be a good choice from Little Shop. Honestly, don't worry too much about a song for Hugo--he doesn't sing in Bye Bye Birdie, except for in the chorus songs.

I open Grease tomorrow...i'm really sick of the music and i don't think there are any good audition songs.
I don't really like to use Little Shop At Auditions...but it's still in my mind.
I'll probably end up using Without Love But play it very Hugo-esque...nerdy.
