[Pubgirl]

Help. I have a dance audition on Sunday for this show and I know I have a decent chance. But it is on a much bigger scale than any shows I have done before. (That's why I'm not trying out for a principle - a chorus girl would be such an honour for this company)

Anyway I am blonde and oh so white and I was wondering will this go against me even if I can pull off the dances??

Do the Jets girls dance much? - I've only seen the film!

Hmm, I'm not sure, I've never been in this show but I have seen it done with the Jets girls dancing quite a bit, too. But I'm not sure how they would do it in a larger scale company. Of course, if worse comes to worst (and you're a really great dancer), they might just ask you to dye your hair dark and go tanning... My friend was also in a production as a Sharks girl, and they actually made her dye her hair platinum blond... AND get a tan. Yeah, I'm not too sure why, but just thought it was relevant.
