Best Pancake Filling???

I've had them tonight with Brown Sugar, Cinnamon and Sultanas as a filling, but.... I'm having them again tomorrow n need some inspiration.

You can't beat good old lemon and sugar! Razz
Ham and grated cheese is pretty good - or a jar of sun dried tomatoes...
lostquiche

what are sultanas? I like any kind of fruit, but blueberries and peaches are both delish, with butter and powdered sugar on top. Drool

Yeah, they've got a slightly veggie taste, which goes away when you put lemon and sugar on them. Still make me ill tho dammit. d'oh! Trust me, there isn't a wheat alternative I haven't tried!

Magic Bullet! It's the blender that they have the corny infomercial for. You're supposed to be able to cut things up in it in like five seconds or less or something...it's not THAT good, but it is still amazing.

i def. was not thinking of a blender when you said "magic bullet" (bad me)

i like nutella and bananas on my pancakes (or even better, in my crapes)
katethegreat

Had nutella and bananas today too - yum Smile
I guess we have our pancakes over here more like crepes - they're larger and thin enough to roll and fold. I loved the pancakes I had when I was in the US though, couldn't eat as many as they gave me!

Ah, now I understand! I was getting awfully confused with the fillings!

The best pancakes I ever had were buttermilk griddle-cakes on a maple sugar farm- served with freshly made maple syrup!

I like strawberries and whipped cream, but on top, not IN the pancake. I also like bluberries.
broadwaybaby124

I LOVE pecans in my pancakes, but buckwheat pancakes are the best. If anyone has ever been to the Pocono Mountains/is planning on going to the Pocono Mountains in Pennsylvania, I recommend checking out Van Gilder's Jubilee. It has the best buckwheat pancakes I've ever had.
