I know it's kinda sad, as Ben Vereen has done so many wonderful roles and such, but to me he will always be remembered as Mayor Ben....

I don't know, but it doesn't really matter because they usually cast the wizard with a big actor so whoever you see will be good. |

well apparently as i have heard that he is living the broadway show of wicked but he is suppose to be switching places with the wizard in chicago to be closer to his family.
I saw him and was suppose to meet him but he has s sudden business meeting to go to so.. oh well its ok. my dad sent a letter and everything and we were suppose to but whatever. he was amazing as the wizard they actually added a few bars of music so that he could show off his dancing with idina for "wonderful" it was so good. |

Tomorrow (Feb 1st) is George's last performance. After that, Ben will be back again.

just saw the show-- got home like 5 minutes ago. Vereen was...Fantastic. I couldn't hate the wizard from his performance, I wanted to hug him...tehe. Great job, great dancing. His "Wonderful" really picked the show up for me. Everything before that (besides "Defying Gravity") was utter crap. | ||

I saw Vereen the first time i saw the show....he was awesome!!! I saw some other guy last week when i saw it...honestly, Vereen was much better | ||
