Amazing pics, very good for a high school production. This year my school did "42nd Street" I'm just hoping we do "Beauty" before I graduate but I've got four years

Great costumes. Umm As trevor said your gaston was miscast. Gaston should at least fill out his costume. Imight be biased though because I have now problem filling out any costume.

I disagree about Gaston... I think that if he can act the part and make it believable, size really doesn't matter that much.

The lines in the song "Gaston" refer to his descirption of the charactor make it unbelievable. "Not a bit of hims scragly or scrawny." "As you see I've got biceps to spare." "Im roughly the size of a barge" Its pretty tough to act around those.

Well yes, but it's a high school show. I can understand trying to find someone more brawny looking in a professional or even a community theatre, but you really can't cast on looks in most high schools. And besides, if done right, the fact that he's all scrawny could be played up a bit to show just how big of an opinion he has about himself.

I saw a skinny Gaston and he was fantasic! He just played it as though he was so insanely arrogant that he had convinced himself that he WAS that big. It worked perfectly.

The pics look great! I'm pretty sure we used the same company as you for Lumiere, Cogsworth, and the Wardrobe. All of the costumes look fantastic! I'm hoping I'll get to do this show at my high school before I graduate
