Beauty and the Beast audition

I've got two weeks to prepare for an audition for a community theatre production of BATB.

I'm fairly new to musical theatre, coming from a classical voice background, so my MT repertoire is small. However, two weeks is enough time for me to learn at least one new song, so if anyone has a suggestion, I'd appreciate the help.

I'm a baritone, with a comfortable range of Low F - F# above middle C.

Right now I'm planning to sing On The Street Where You Live and If I Were A Rich Man. The song I'm most willing to replace is Rich Man, but if there's a good reason why On The Street is not appropriate, I can replace that one instead.

It's a general audition, not targetted to a specific part, though I could see myself handling any of the male roles other than Gaston, Lefou or Lumiere.

My past MT experience includes:
- Godspell, as an apostle (sang lead for We Beseech Thee and Light of the World)
- Scrooge!, as Fezziwig and Hugo Harty
- West Side Story, as an unnamed Jet

Physically, I'm 6' 1", caucasian, average build.

My suggestion is always that people sing Disney songs for Disney show auditions and BatB is a Disney show. But actually, "On the Street Where You Llive" might be good for an audition for the beast if you sing it with lots of vibratto like the guy on the OBCR.
