Hi,
I am going to audition for Bat Boy and was thinking of singing a character song for the audition, something with some kind of southern accent. Any suggestions or advice?

what about "Kansas City" from Oklahoma. you can do a lot w/ that accent. if you wanna sing something from the show-look at Christian Charity...it shows off the accent.

what part are you looking for? most the male parts are pretty high, so it's not bad to have a money note prepared.

I auditioned with "its hard to speak my heart" from parade and i got cast as Pan and Sherriff and considering Sherriff was the part i wanted im pretty happy. So if anyone wants to come and see the Edinburgh Fringe Premiere of Bat Boy the Musical, its on from the 3rd-28th of august in Ctoo.

Ok you HAVE to do this song called twirling for jesus. It's perfect and it's friken hilarious. I don't have any info on it but please like find it, it's amazing.
