Streisand is about to turn 64. She's probably too old to play Donna. I think Donna is supposed to be in her 40s. Plus, I'm not sure if Streisand's voice and singing style are suited for ABBA songs.

I agree about the age of Donna. I hadn't really thought about Streisand's age, but I was thinking more in general. She may not have exact singing style that the show requires, but I still think the role just fits her. I mean, imagine her singing "The Winner Takes It All." Wow. lol.

I agree that she could handle "The Winner Takes It All". It would suit her style of singing.
