Bad Girls: The Musical

Has anybody seen the musical? I've seen some clips on the website (www.badgirlsthemusical.com) and I must say that the songs are funny and catchy.

To have a musical with a lesbian romance as the helm is quite daring for the comemrical west-end, but I'm sure they pull it off.

If anyone's seen it, could you tell me what happens at the end? I watched the show on TV, and know that the ending is different to the TV show.

Thanks

Having just listened to this episode, i hardly think you can call it a review. More like to snooty men, hardly well known, looking down on it and openly mocking the show.

I though, to review a show, one needed to actually watch a show, but in your show you choose to just be pretentious snobs about it. Neither of the people in the cast had seen the show, one was more infuriatingly snobbish than the other.

Appalling podcast and i wish id never found it. If youhad indeed watched Bad Girls, you would have found it to be more serious than you though "never judge a book by its cover" springs to mind. It is a victim of its own success as snobbish pretentious nobodies like the poeple in this cast judge it on the fact it was a TV show, nothing more, liking it to Prisoner Cell Block H couldn't be further from the truth, whilst not taking itself 100% serious, it is not a "Pantomime" as they described it and does cover quite serious issues, like the vulnerability of young women. Ive never seen a panto where one of the leads is raped by the male lead, have these men?

Id suggest that before you continue with your amateurishly style pod casts you take the time to watch the shows your reviewing, maybe venturing to the theatre, what a wacky notion?!

Bad Girls is a clever, witty, touching show. The music is wholly original, and although quite moving points in the show, it was contrasted with such excellent comedy. If you missed this show you missed out.

However, do your best to avoid MusicalTalk, they dont even see the shows they review. I wish i had done the same with their podcast. Despicable People.

pwnage?

I know its a rant, but i think its a valid point that reviewers show see a show before they review it.

You don't make much sense though. You're main argument was that they didn't see the musical, when one of the presenters DID see it. It sounds to me that you're upset because you don't agree with the review.

And way to dig up an old thread just to criticize established members on MdN. Very endearing.

Have you listned to the ep of musicaltalk?

If you had, then you'll realise the two actually talking haven't seen it, they refer to friends who have seen it and quotes off the website. They openly say they haven't seen it so im afraid your wrong. Neither have seen it, plain as day.

And ill criticize who i feel is wrong regardless of "established members" and if yu dont find that endearing then i'm quite glad. Uh Oh!

I guess that means they didn't see it?

I did listen to it. They did say that some of their friend saw it. I didn't, however, hear that they didn't see it.

Well - this is interesting. We're sorry that our comments on the show bothered you, but we are an independent podcast and have every right to air our opinions. And I can certainly confirm that one member of the presenting team did see the production. We have too much of a reputation to foolishly discuss shows that we haven't seen. Of course, I can't prove this fact - but the fact they talk about it for 20 minutes means that someone in the discussion had to have seen the show.

I do ask that you do not deter others from checking out the podcast. Like everyone, it's up to them whether they listen. You don't have to listen if you do not wish - but I guarantee we have more fans than people who dislike the show.

So - if you don't wish to listen, that's fine - but please don't order others not to listen. It's a free podcast to listen to, so no one is losing anything by listening.

this is all well and good, but you do not discuss it in any detail to show that you saw it, the details you give are all given on the website. So if you did see it, a very poor review. No comments on acting, staging, design, writing except mocking one line of lyric, music, need i go on? , characters also compaing it to prisoner cell block h, if the two people talking on the podcast had seen the show they ould now it is very unlike prisoner cell block h.

You say one of the presenting team had seen it, was this person on the actual cast of the episode talking about the show?
