Take a listen to 'This I Love' from Chinese Democracy and tell me that Axl wouldn't kick ass as Jesus.

In the fact the whole album is a powerhouse vocal performance and it's not all screaming like vintage GnR. Axl's voice soars and can be ugly, angry, beautiful, tender - it's an amazing album.

Unless you want to hear axl's voice run through several pitch correction programs absolutely not. If he could legitimately hit those notes like he used to then hell yes.

No thank you. I was unhappy when they gave the role to Evita to Madonna because she has nowhere near the range of Patti Lupone but the movie really grew on me, especially with the casting of Antonio Banderas and Jonathan Pryce, and they ended up rewriting the music for the notes that Lupone could hit and Madonna could not.

I defiinitely would not want to see Rose as Jesus. Maybe I've seen Ted Neely perform it too many times and I'm spoiled.
