Avatars and Signatures Help Me Puh-leaaaase!!!

Hey everybody!
I know this is kinda a dumb question but how do you get avatars and signatures? Pretty much everybody except me has an avatar (not to mention really cool signatures) If anybody could help me then that would be really great! Thanks in advance!

Mistosgurl(this will be my pathetic little signature for now! I guess I can't fake the Avatar though can I?! Crying or Very sad )
Nemi

You make them, you ask for them, you find them online...

I'd be more than happy to make you a signature or avatar, if you'd like.

But actually putting one in? Click on the proflie link up there, then the profile tab, and it'll give you some more tabs where Avatar and Signature are options. Just click at those.

For signature images just use +img+URL OF IMAGE+/img+, but replace the +s with brackets [ ].

Hope that helps!

Thank You! As to the offer of making me an avatar and a signature, that is really nice of you! I'll try to make one myself and if I totally screw up or just can't do it, then I'll come crawling and crying to you for help again! Thanks again! Or as I like to say Danke Shorts! (I say that because in German, Thank You is 'danke schon' the o has two dots over it which makes it sound like an euh sound, and I had a friend [okay she was one of my youth group's leaders] and she said that. So I copied her. And I kinda started my friends on saying it so we also have a reply! Bitte Shoes! (In German 'bitte schon' is You're Welcome) In any case Thanks a lot Nemi!

They're really easy to make in Photoshop. Usually it takes longer to find the images you want to use than it does to actually make the thing itself. If you don't have Photoshop, a lot of people use Paint, but I prefer PS.

Good luck!

^ I use Paint Shop Pro, and Photoshop scares me Neutral And I know of those who use PS and say that PSP scares them Laughing

^Basically all that's required is a halfway decent graphic design/editing program and half an hour to an hour of time.

To each their own. My best friend is a graphic designer by trade and used to teach classes in Photoshop, Illustrator, and the other various Adobe programs when he was finishing up his degree at the U of AZ. He used the Mac versions where I use XP (and for me they're a toy) and so if I run into any snags I just have to pick up the phone. Wink

Makes life easier, you know? Wink

You can do the 30-day trial for PSP: http://www.corel.com/servlet/Satellite?pagename=Corel3/Products/Display&pfid=1047024307383&pid=1047025487586

Thanks, but I'm too young to buy anything for a trial.
I can't do stuff like that, I'd get in trouble. Sad
Cool But I'm ok.
Moongewl

You don't have to pay for it. IIRC, it's a free trial.
MrsJemimaMistoffelees

Yup. It's free...for 30 days.
