auditions....oh noo!!!ok...so this childrens theatre that i do shows at is doing anything goes and im completley clueless when it comes to audition songs!!!the oldest people in the show are like 18 or 19. im 13,pretty small only abiut 5'1ish...a little over 100 lbs...im a mezzo, but more comfortable in my lower range.i can belt up to the c above middle c. i want somthing upbeat and somthing that kinda goes along well with the show.pleassseee hellp meee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would suggest doing a song from a musical, not some random song you heard on the radio. And make sure it really shows of your range. Also, they might test your range at auditions, ours did.

I sang "My Funny Valentine" from Babes in Arms. I changed the key, but it was a lower/belting song. And I also got Hope =)

bell, if you're still looking for a song, go to the audition song thread in "Auditions Auditions Auditions." There are a lot of people there with great ideas for songs.
P.S. I sang "About a Quarter To Nine" from 42nd Street for my Anything Goes Auditions.
