Pavarotti has to find a bent nail on stage before every performance because bent nails are his good luck charm. One night he tripped over a bent nail and kinda hurt himself and was cursing like crazy but then went on to give one of the best performances of his life. So now he needs to find one before each show! His agent actually goes around throwing them on the stage so he'll find one.
So here's a bent nail for you, to wish you luck!

The audition was yesterday, it went really well. I was called back last night.
The same girl and I were called back for both The Baker's Wife and the witch. She is really good. We were each paired with a different Baker. I think it will come down to which Baker they cast. It was totatlly nerve racking to do callbacks after being out of the loop for so long. Honestly I feel honored to be called back for both parts. I'll be happy no matter what.
I just got my phone call, I was cast as the witch. I'm super excited. Thanks everyone for the wished of good luck! Looks like thet paid off.

YAH! THE WITCH! one of my dream roles. RIGHT ON! I'm so excited for you, as you might be able to tell from the excessive use of caps.
I ended up with the role of Anita in West Side Story from my callback this weekend. Yippee! I don't know how strong the rest of the cast is , unfortunately, but I'm mostly doing the show to get in good with the directors - they're amazing guest directors from the best equity house in the state.
