Assuming you are not looking for professional work (for which, I'd recommend The Stage - website and paper) the best place I know to look is on www.amdram.co.uk. They list by groups/areas/shows so you should be able to find something there.

Some local radio stations also have community announcements pages on their websites and I have seen auditions advertised there (in London, anyway).

Recently?? well i have only done one show.......WSS where i played chino......i know not the biggest part in the world......but a part none the less. I have only been doin the whole AmDram fing a year and i wish to branch out a bit please. lol.

So Your looking for an Amature Dramatics Company in the North Of England.
like the poster above said check Amdram.co.uk and you should also ask in your local theatre as to what amature theatre companies put on shows there.
they can probably give you the contact details as well.
